Compliance teams at telehealth companies, pharmacies and health systems

Healthcare regulatory change monitoring: Know when a board, the FDA or a legislature changes the rules you work under.

The rules for prescribing, compounding and telehealth come from each state's medical, nursing and pharmacy boards, from the FDA and the DEA, and from the state legislatures, each on its own website.

Start from topics that already list those pages, and get each change with a short summary and a rating.

What ChangeGuard does

  • Ready-made topics list the state medical, nursing and pharmacy boards at the pages where their rule changes appear, with the FDA, DEA and HHS pages, and searches of every state legislature for bills on health subjects.
  • Every change comes with a summary and a rating, so a new emergency rule comes before a changed phone number.
  • Keywords such as “telemedicine”, “compounding” or a drug's name flag only the changes you work on.
  • Boards often post proposed rules as PDFs: each new PDF, Word document or Excel spreadsheet a page links to appears in one list with its title and date.
  • A workspace for each part of the business, such as the pharmacy and the clinics, keeps their boards and their people apart.

Questions

Questions people ask

Does it cover every state's boards?

The topics list the medical, nursing and pharmacy boards of most states, each at the page where it posts rule changes, news or newsletters. A board whose site cannot be read every day is left out. Add any other page yourself.

Can it follow bills in every state legislature?

The health bills topic is a set of searches of every state legislature, one per subject, from Open States, with the latest action first. When a bill on that subject is introduced, moves or is signed, the search changes and you hear about it.

Does it read the PDFs on these pages?

It lists each new PDF, Word document or Excel spreadsheet the page links to, with its title and the date it was first seen. Keywords match the page's text and the documents' names, not what is written inside a PDF.

How often does it check?

Once a day on the Free plan. From Starter up, a page can be checked as often as every hour.
