ChangeGuard

Know the moment a page changes.

ChangeGuard keeps an eye on the web pages that matter to you, from rules and contracts to prices and competitors, and shows you exactly what changed. Cookie banners, dates and other clutter are left out.

Free for 5 pages. No card needed.

The product

Everything that needs your attention, on one screen.

Each set of pages shows how many changes are waiting, which checks failed, and what is new since you last looked. Open a change and the two versions are already side by side.

How it works

Four steps, then it runs on its own.

  1. Add the pages

Paste the web addresses, or upload a spreadsheet. Group them into sets: one for each supplier, regulator or competitor.

  2. Decide what matters

Choose how often to check, from every few minutes to once a month. Click the parts of a page to ignore: cookie banners, ads, dates that change every day.

  3. ChangeGuard checks and compares

Each check saves the page’s text, a screenshot and any new documents it links to, then compares them with the last version. Small changes that never matter stay quiet.

  4. Read what changed, decide, move on

You get an email: one per change, one per check, or a daily or weekly round-up. Each change comes with a short summary and a rating of how much it matters, and every earlier version is kept.

See a change

See exactly what changed. Drag to try it.

The old and new versions of a page, side by side, with the differences highlighted and a short note on what they add up to. Text that only moved is shown as moved, not as deleted and typed again. Drag the divider, or use the arrow keys.

A made-up pricing page; no real company is shown. Between the two versions, the Team plan went from $39 to $49 per user per month, a fair-use limit was added, the annual offer was removed and the VAT note moved. ChangeGuard rated the change likely substantial.

Ignore the parts that always change.

Point at the parts of a page that always change and never matter. Set how big a change has to be before anyone hears about it.

  • Click anything on the page to leave it out: cookie banners, ads, dates, rotating promotions
  • Decide, per set, how small a change is too small to mention, and whether something disappearing counts
  • Pages added twice are spotted and merged
Starter and up

A plain-English summary, before you open anything.

Each change comes with a short description in everyday words and a rating: likely minor or likely substantial. Decide what to open from the list.

  • What changed, in a paragraph you can read on your phone
  • A rating and a category, so a moved footer never outranks a new fee
  • The rating comes from measuring the change itself, not from guesswork; the written summary sits on top

Alerts that fit how you work.

Nobody gets email they did not ask for. One person can want a message the moment a page changes; another, a single round-up on Monday morning.

  • A round-up email as often as you like, at a time that suits you. Weekly on Free, daily from Starter
  • On Business, an email for every change and a report each time a set of pages has been checked
  • Every message has an unsubscribe link

Pages other tools give up on.

ChangeGuard reads pages with a real web browser, the way you do. It waits out “are you human?” checks, signs in where it has to, and repeats the clicks needed to reach the content.

  • Sites that block automated visitors are handled, and once a site has let it through, that is remembered
  • Save a login for a site once, and every page on that site is checked while signed in
  • Show it the clicks once (accept cookies, open a tab, expand a section) and it repeats them on every check

Pages that block automated visitors cost 5 credits a check instead of 1, because they need a full browser session.

Documents too.

When a page you watch links to a new PDF or file, you hear about it. New documents from all your pages appear in one list.

  • New files spotted on every check, with their titles and dates
  • A list of what appeared since you last looked, which you can narrow to one set
  • Download the list as a spreadsheet

Built for teams that share the load.

Keep clients or departments in separate workspaces. Invite as many people as you need: from the Team plan up there is no charge per person.

  • Members, admins and owners; invite people with a link you can revoke at any time
  • Several workspaces on one plan share its page and credit allowances
  • Light and dark themes, and desktop apps for Windows and Linux

Who uses it

Anyone whose job depends on a page they do not control.

  • Regulatory and compliance

Rules, guidance and fee schedules change on agency sites without notice.

Watch every page you are accountable for, one set per regulator, and read a summary of each change with how much it matters.

  • Legal and contracts

Terms of service, privacy policies and public filings move quietly.

Keep every version, compare any two, and export the new documents a page links to.

  • Procurement and vendors

Supplier price lists, service terms and status pages change between reviews.

Check daily or hourly, ignore the parts that always change, and get a round-up on your own schedule.

  • Competitors and prices

Feature lists and price tables change the week you stop looking.

Leave out the clutter, keep the screenshots, and see the exact line that changed.

  • SEO and content QA

A website update quietly breaks a page nobody is looking at.

Your own key pages, compared word by word and screenshot by screenshot after every release, with a record of what changed when.

  • Research and public records

Dockets, registers and minutes update on their own timetable.

Monitor the index pages and be told when a new document appears.

Questions

Questions people ask before they sign up.

Is there a free trial?

Free is the trial. Five pages, checked daily, with a weekly email digest, for as long as you like. No time limit and no card.

What counts as a page?

One URL you are monitoring. Pages you archive stop counting. Every page belongs to a set, which is how you schedule checks and group alerts.

How often can ChangeGuard check a page?

It depends on the plan: daily on Free, every six hours on Starter, hourly on Team, every 15 minutes on Business, and every 5 minutes on Enterprise. You choose the schedule per set, at a time that suits you.

What is a credit?

One check of one page. Pages that block automated visitors cost five credits a check, because they need a full web browser to get through.

What does a change look like?

The old and new versions of the page side by side with the differences highlighted, the two screenshots to compare, and on Starter and above a short summary in plain English with a rating of how much it matters.

How am I told about changes?

By email. Every plan includes a round-up email (a digest) as often as you choose; Business adds an email per change and a report each time a set finishes checking. Nobody receives email they did not opt into.

Do you integrate with Slack or Teams?

Not yet. Email is the only channel today. If you need another one, tell us at hello@changeguard.app.

Can it monitor pages behind a login?

Yes. Store a site sign-in once and every page on that site is checked signed-in. You can also record the clicks it takes to reach the content, and ChangeGuard repeats them on every check.

What about sites that block automated visitors?

ChangeGuard uses a real browser and waits out the check. Sites protected by DataDome, Cloudflare, Imperva and Radware are recognised and handled, and once a site has let it through, that is remembered. These pages cost five credits a check.

How do you handle cookie banners and rotating content?

Point at the parts of a page that always change and never matter and ChangeGuard ignores them. You can also set a minimum change size per set.

Who can see my workspace?

Only people you invite. Roles are member, admin and owner. Seats are unlimited from Team up.
