Sanctions and trade compliance teams, banks and exporters

Sanctions and export control monitoring: Know when OFAC, BIS, the UK or the UN adds a name, a rule or a license.

Designations, general licenses and export rules come from several authorities, each on its own pages, and a new designation can apply from the day it is published.

Watch the pages where each authority posts its actions, and get each new one with a summary and a rating.

Free for 5 pages. No card needed.

What ChangeGuard does

  • OFAC's recent actions page lists each action with its date: every new one comes with a summary and a rating.
  • Keywords such as “general license”, “Entity List” or a country's name flag only the actions you work on.
  • New PDFs a page links to, such as a general license, appear in one list with their titles and dates.
  • The development banks' debarment lists are a topic too, so you hear when a partner is barred from the projects they finance.

Questions

Questions people ask

Does it screen names against the lists?

No. It watches the pages where the lists and the actions are published, and tells you what changed on them. Checking your customers' names against a list is the job of screening software.

Can it tell me when the OFAC sanctions list is updated?

Yes. OFAC posts each update to its lists on its recent actions page, which the topic watches. Each new action arrives as a change with a short summary, such as names added to a list or removed from it.

Which authorities do the topics cover?

OFAC and Treasury, the Bureau of Industry and Security, the State Department's DDTC, the UK's sanctions list and OFSI, and the UN Security Council, with the debarment lists of the World Bank, ADB, AfDB, EBRD and EIB. Add any other page yourself.

How often does it check?

Once a day on the Free plan. From Starter up, a page can be checked as often as every hour.
